It does have romances! It's called the Trails series (it sounds cooler in Japanese), but it's got like four million installments, so I would suggest specifically playing the sub-series Trails of Cold Steel. My actual recommendation for you is that if you liked the JRPG vibe of P4G, there's a series I've heard is pretty similar that I'm looking to start playing myself. Like I said, there's no romances, but all the companions are really cute and compelling and you can help one of your companions date the girl she has a crush on? I know it's not what you asked for, but I love this game a lot, and hope more people play it so when the second one comes out the playerbase will be big and lovely. No romance, but if you liked FO: New Vegas, you should definitely play Outerworlds! It's by the same people, is more of a sci-fi thing but it has the vibes of NV, so it's mostly just cowboy ridiculousness that happens to be in space. I can second most of the ones Densagara said, and then also have two more to offer you !! You get to be the bad guy (kinda) in the story!.No romance but my god this game is so fun.Haven't tried this yet, but this is in my "to play later" list.Hated the dice rolls but you can give this a shot and see how you fare.Personally didn't connect romantically with any of the characters here, but it's still a good game.I love this game and I played this around 2010 when it was already pretty old I heard they're doing a remake but still highly suggest these ones (esp the 1st) for their great storytelling. If you don't mind old graphics this is also a really really good game to get.If you've played the dragon age and mass effect series then this has to be another game you should try.And this is the one with the romance options 2's mechanics have been drastically improved compared to 1.1 doesn't have romance options, but still a good game.I feel like that's going to be right up your alley.Īctually, let me just put them here in bullet form XD I loved the mechanics and the story and characters too. They have sort of the essence of good old Bioware magic. OH! A good one I highly suggest is Greedfall. If you're playing games like Rune Factory and Stardew Valley, you could keep going down that rabbit hole XD There's the Harvest Moon series. I'm a sucker for RPGs with good romance so I'm with you here XD
